Following the events of Evil Dead Rise, the Evil Dead franchise has all the pieces in place for an exciting new chapter in the never-ending battle against the Deadites. Ash's original time-hopping battles against the dead, Mia's tortuous night in the woods in Evil Dead , and Beth's gruesome escape from the apartment complex in Evil Dead Rise all seem like separate events loosely occurring in the same universe.
Evil Dead Franchise's Three Books Of The Dead Explained The Deadites in each Evil Dead film are brought on by people reading from the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis. Through the first four films, it seemed as though there was one book making its way through time and space. Small differences in appearance were largely written off due to Evil Dead being considered a soft reboot as opposed to a definitive sequel.
How Ash, Mia and Beth Can Team Up In An Evil Dead Rise Sequel Evil Dead Rise director Lee Cronin has already teased an Evil Dead Rise sequel, but one of the most promising concepts is the unification of the books, necessitating a team-up of Ash, Mia, and Beth. If all three books were unified, that could result in a "big bad" to battle. The Evil Dead franchise suggests that the books can not actually be destroyed, and that the books may even be sentient.
