Sen. Kamala Harris of California — who battled Biden for the nomination — currently tops betting markets, followed by former national security adviser Susan Rice and Sen. Tammy Duckworth of Illinois. Rep. Karen Bass of California ranks fourth, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts is currently in fifth place. Harris, Rice and Bass are Black. Another Black woman, Rep. Val Demings of Florida, is behind Warren in sixth.
