KUALA LUMPUR, 16 Ogos -- Bekas Gabenor Bank Negara Malaysia Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz hadir bagi memberi keterangan dalam perbicaraan kes 1Malaysia Development Bhd melibatkan bekas Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak di Mahkamah Tinggi hari ini.

Muhammad Shafee: Bukankan ia satu tempoh yang panjang untuk mendapati bahawa wang itu telah masuk ke entiti yang salah. “Namun tiada maklum balas yang kami terima, dan itu sebabnya pada 2014 apabila 1MDB memohon untuk mendapatkan lebih banyak wang, BNM menolak permohonannya kerana hutangnya terus meningkat, oleh itu, bank pusat menolak permohonannya,” tegas Zeti.
