UPDATE: Police have arrested a man in his 20s in connection to last week's deadly shooting at a convenience store near 51st and Glendale avenues.
The incident, described as"heinous" and"targeted" by Glendale police, occurred inside a convenience store near 51st and Glendale avenues on April 21.
According to Glendale police, the man, identified by police as Mohammad Ataei, dressed entirely in black, with a black mask, walked up to 25-year-old Irma Rivera-Martinez and shot her approximately 10 times.As part of the investigation, police used security camera footage in the area and identified a license plate that belonged to Ataei.Ataei was booked into jail on Friday.
