AZ Mobile Spaws says instead of increasing costs for animal grooming, it'll decrease its radius of customers. The owner says he hopes it'll offset gas prices and the increase of other business operations.

Many businesses are facing the issue Mobile Spaws is facing – a rise in costs and a decrease in profit. Typically, we see that burden pushed onto the consumer in the form of a rise in prices, but owner Jeremy Snyder has a different idea.

Five years ago, Mobile Spaws opened. It serviced customers from the Carefree Highway all the way to the 101 and 202, and as south as Sun Lakes. "If it was 50 miles, let's say. It's down to about 30," Snyder said. That's because it's getting harder to make a profit. and gas prices are just the icing on the cake.
