The green flag drops on the Toyota Owners 400 on Easter Sunday night at Richmond Raceway
Staff Reports Both the Ariton baseball team and the Wicksburg softball team stayed in the top spot in the latest state rankings the Alabama Sports Writers Association released early Thursday.
Despite going 1-3 in the week, the Wicksburg softball team stayed No. 1 in the Class 2A softball poll. During the week for last year’s state runner-up, two of the three losses were to Class 7A ranked teams and the Class 5A ranked team. Enterprise and Rehobeth moved up a spot in their classification as Opp. Kinston and Abbeville Christian slid down one spot in their classes. Houston Academy, Wicksburg and Zion Chapel remained the same as last week.
