A man was shot and seriously injured Friday night after an argument broke out at a south Houston gas station.An argument at a gas station in south Houston on Friday night ended with a man getting shot and seriously injured, police said.
Houston Police officers found the man around 11:30 p.m. at a Chevron gas station on Reed Road near Highway 288, Lt. Larry Crowson said at a staging area after the shooting. The man was shot at least one time, he said. He was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, but he is expected to survive, according to Crowson.
The shooting happened after an argument broke during a large gathering at the gas station. Two men running away from the scene were detained by police, Crowson said.
