New car sales reached—a 21.8 percent compared to 25,149 units a year ago. This is according to the joint monthly report of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines and the Truck Manufacturers Association .
. Mitsubishi is in second with 5,613 units or 18.32 percent followed by Ford in third with 2,716 units . Not far behind is Nissan with 2,114 units or 6.90 percent. Rounding out the top five for April is Honda with 1,240 units or a 4.05 percent market share.Passenger carsAgain,followed by Mitsubishi with 1,809 units , Honda with 529 units , Nissan with 431 units , and Suzuki with 240 units .increased by 23.5 percent to 23,326 units in April 2023 from 18,890 units a year ago.
On a year-to-date basis, sales growth of passenger cars was higher than the commercial vehicle segment at 30.5 percent and 27.3 percent, respectively.
