NAVOTAS City Mayor John Rey Tiangco announced on Thursday that 'Navoteños' and even non-residents may now apply for and get their authenticated copies of Philippine Statistics Authority documents from City Hall.

He told The Manila Times that the local government has been authorized to accept requests and release copies of PSA documents, following the passage of an ordinance that paved the way for the implementation of the Batch Request Query System .Among the documents that can be processed through BREQS are birth certificate, marriage certificate, death certificate, certificate of no marriage , advisory on marriages, court decision or legal instrument and annotated civil registry documents.

'BREQS will make it easier and more convenient for Navoteños and non-Navoteños alike to access civil registry services,' Tiangco said.'PSA documents are important in availing government assistance. Through this system, we hope to open more opportunities for our people to avail programs and services that are due to them,' he added.
