was unveiled last month, and as the years of rumours regarding it has suggested, it is indeed an extremely premium piece of tech. Of course, if its price is not enough an indication as to its exclusive status, a new report by Bloomberg claims that it is not something that you can just pop into a store and buy.
Said report notes that “Apple will ask in-store buyers to make an appointment to purchase the Vision Pro”. The company may also ask users for their vision prescription for lens inserts. In the same vein, the iPhone maker is reportedly developing two ways to scan a person’s head. One of these would be a physical machine, another would be via an iPhone app. All this is done so that customers who walk out of a store with the headset would have a product that fits them perfectly.
