Recently, the company announced the latestto address several issues. While users are updating their devices with the latest versions of software, the Cupertino-based tech giant is already working on the next iterations of operating systems for various devices. Apple reportedly completed the M1 versions of the iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS 18 last month. The concerned team was moving on to the M2 version when the development was halted. M1 and M2 are milestones of the development cycles and do not refer to M1 and M2 chipsets. The pause in developing next iteration of iOS 18 and macOS 15 is expected to last only a few days. It is a good news as Apple is prioritizing fixing bugs and issues. The report says that the delay will not likely affect the release schedule of the iOS 18 and macOS 18.Apple’s latest iOS 17.1.
