Wedbush analysts have stated in a note to investors that Apple could be one of the potential buyers of fitness equipment company Peloton.

So far, it was reported that Amazon has been looking into buying the fitness equipment-making company, but now, Wedbush analysts Daniel Ives and John Katsingris have written an internal note to investors that Apple could be one of the potential buyers of Peloton. Currently, Peloton reportedly has 2.8 million paid subscriptions and a very unique competitive niche. It seems that purchasing the company would be a business model risk for Apple and its healthcare segment and future endeavors.
As many of you may probably know, Apple has been offering many health care initiatives recently, so such an acquisition could broaden the spectrum of services the company offers. According to the analysts, Peloton will fit quite well within Apple's ecosystem as well.
