This project cost me $3 and was pretty fun!
After eight hours, I removed the articles of clothing from the pot of dye and hand-washed them in cold water.Here's what my clothes looked like before they were dyed, and here's what they looked like once they were washed/still wet. Clearly, the dingy bra is a different color than the whitest tank top on the left. I was skeptical about the coloring, but I decided to save my final opinion for when they were fully dry.
, added a bit of bleach, let it sit for an hour, then washed it out. Two out of the three turned out AMAZING. The shirt on the right looked just okay.My favorite piece ended up being the ~upgraded~ Calvin Klein bra because it looked so bad before! But now it feels fresh and new. Overall, this is a really creative and extremely cheap project! If you're bored and have the supplies on hand, I recommend it. The results are totally worth it.
