An apartment in Jay-Z’s former “stash spot,” which was mentioned in his hit song “Empire State of Mind” featuring Alicia Keys, has hit the market for $1.4 million, The Post has learned.
According to the lyrics, “I used to cop in Harlem, all of my Dominicanos / Right there up on Broadway, pull me back to that McDonald’s / Took it to my stash spot, 560 State Street / Catch me in the kitchen like a Simmons with them pastries.” “So let me treat it like that and give it my all,” he added. “And when I did, it happened pretty much right away for me.”for a beachfront home in Malibu designed by Tadao Ando — one of the world’s most respected architects — whose purchase price broke a California sales record.
