Ketibaan Anwar bersama Menteri Luar Zambry Abdul Kadir dan Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri Armizan Mohd Ali disambut Duta Besar Turkiye ke Malaysia Emir Salim Yuksel. Pasukan SAR negara terdiri daripada anggota Pasukan Mencari dan Menyelamat Khas Malaysia , Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia, Angkatan Pertahanan Awam Malaysia dan Kor Kesihatan Angkatan Tentera Malaysia.
