KAJANG: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has distanced himself from a purported"addendum order" for former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak to serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest .

Speaking to reporters after prayers on Friday , the Prime Minister said he did not want to get involved in the matter. "This falls under the jurisdiction of the Pardons Board, over which the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the Malay Rulers have absolute authority," he said.It was reported that the Royal addendum order was from the former Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, in his affidavit in support of Najib's application for leave to commence a judicial review, claimed this was granted to Najib along with his royal pardon.
