Anwar: Pakatan must admit weakness, work on messaging

“Just like what my friend YB Gobind Singh has said in the past, we haven’t been able to convey our messages of reform in such a way that we can allay the fears of certain sections of the public,” Anwar told the nearly 1,000 attendees at Ideal Convention Centre in Shah Alam today. Anwar then thanked DAP members for continuing to work hard and courageously for the people even if this made them unpopular.

Anwar urged DAP to remain true to its reform pledges and to use the previous sacrifices of the party’s leaders as motivation to stay the course during the transition period.
