Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim made a lighthearted remark about Deputy Prime Minister Zahid Hamidi's attendance at the launch of the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign, acknowledging his presence while other UMNO leaders were supporting Najib Razak at the Court of Appeal.
SEPANG: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim sempat mengusik Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi ketika memulakan ucapan ketika merasmikan Majlis Pelancaran Kempen Tahun Melawat Malaysia 2026 di sini, pagi tadi.
“Assalamualaikum dan Salam sejahtera, Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Zahid yang ada di sini dan tidak ditempat lain,” katanya. Selain Ahmad Zahid, turut hadir pada majlis pelancaran itu termasuk Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof serta beberapa menteri Kabinet. Mahkamah Rayuan di Putrajaya pagi ini mendengar rayuan bekas Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Razak ke atas keputusan Mahkamah Tinggi Kuala Lumpur berhubung penolakan permohonannya untuk menjalani baki hukuman penjara enam tahun di bawah tahanan rumah, berdasarkan dakwaannya mengenai kewujudan Titah Adendum.
