A former aide to Malaysian politician Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was charged in court with possessing two imitation pistols. The accused, Muhammed Yusoff, was also recently charged with drug trafficking and is currently being held without bail.
KUALA LUMPUR : A former aide to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was charged in the Magistrate’s Court here with possession of two imitation pistols.The former research assistant was charged with having in his possession the imitation pistols at a roadside near a condominium in Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur , here at 9.25am on Sept 6.
Deputy public prosecutor Mohd Sabri Othman proposed bail at RM20,000 in one surety, reported Bernama. Muhammed Yusoff was charged with trafficking cannabis weighing 305g, punishable with death or life imprisonment if found guilty.
