PETALING JAYA: Anwar Ibrahim has distanced himself from remarks by his aide calling for Mohamed Azmin Ali’s resignation if it was proven that several video clips allegedly showing the economic affairs minister engaged in homosexual acts were genuine.
The PKR president was referring to remarks by his political secretary Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak, who said Azmin should resign if the sex videos allegedly showing the latter and a Sarawak PKR Youth leader engaging in homosexual acts turned out to be genuine. “Once again, I call upon party leaders and members to use the proper channel and leave investigations to the police,” the Port Dickson MP said in a statement.
