Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has instructed state education departments to ensure SPM candidates affected by the floods in Sabah and Sarawak can safely take their exams. He also directed Nadma to coordinate flood relief efforts, prioritizing the welfare of victims and the safety of people in affected areas.
PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has directed state education departments to implement necessary actions that will allow SPM candidates impacted by the floods in Sabah and Sarawak to take their exams safely.
Anwar said he has also instructed the National Disaster Management Agency to update and coordinate its machinery for flood relief work, which is comprised of state and federal agencies. Similarly, the state education departments have been instructed to do what is necessary to ensure that affected SPM candidates can sit for their examinations.
