“It’s important that the United States is committed to making sure everything possible is done to protect civilians,” said Blinken.“We will be talking to the Israeli government partners in the region about what all of us are doing to prevent that from happening.” Blinken is expected to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other leaders of the Israeli government during his visit to Tel Aviv.
