Teenagers Mason Melia and Sam Curtis are set to feature at the Aviva Stadium in Sunday's FAI Cup final against Bohemians.

Mason Melia and Sam Curtis are two of the youngest members of in the Athletic's squad, with Curtis a certainty to start in defence against Bohemians.

“Sam lives in Navan, I live in Blanch so it's on the way down so before he could drive I used to collect him,” said Breslin.“We just ended up growing a relationship then, I'd bring him to the gym with me after training every day and try and get him into good habits, so if he does go across the water…”

“It's crazy, the Brexit thing has probably been the best thing for him, that he couldn't go so young and he's stayed and he's got his games in and learned,” said Breslin.
