Despite a social media push to hold anti-SOGI rallies in major Canadian cities Friday, including Victoria, no one showed up except SOGI supporters.Teachers like Matthew Christie say the program is a positive influence. Carolyn Howe, president of the Greater Victoria Teachers’ Association, said SOGI is key to helping students feel safe.
