President Bola Tinubu is reportedly under pressure to sack one of the Director-Generals in a federal government agency.
During the press briefing, the press director of the group, Amb. Austine Peacemaker accused Dr Bukar of embezzling funds earmarked for the Great Green Wall Initiative and diverting resources meant for combating desertification and land degradation. ''The Director General has demonstrated a lack of competence in performing his duties, resulting in significant delays, inefficiencies, and failures in project implementation.
