KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 14 — DAP will appoint a member from Barisan Nasional to be included in the Penang state exco, party secretary-general Anthony Loke announced today.
“Chow as the chief minister as well as all members of the CEC will send a list of names to the chief ministers and menteris besar of the states we won following the conclusion of the state elections on Saturday. “We will continue to fight for the unity government and this move will show our unity and ability to work together for the people,” he said.
Apart from Loke, DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang, Gobind Singh Deo, Teo Nie Ching, Kelvin Yii, Steven Sim Choo Keong, Human Resources Minister V. Sivakumar, RSN Rayer and others were also in attendance.
