Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is set to play a “highly prominent role” in King Charles III’s coronation despite being an avowed republican, according to Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“Alongside a host of British and European royalty, religious figures, dignitaries and officials, Anthony Albanese, with Governor General David Hurley, will process into the Abbey carrying the Australian flag,” Ms Credlin said.
“That means not only will the PM play a prominent role in the procession but will also be seated right up the front of Westminster Abbey.”
