This storm should pull away into Atlantic Canada by Friday night, though lingering slippery roads are likely in New England.One factor that might keep snow totals modest is the system's quick movement from the South through the Northeast in about 36 hours. Higher totals are possible in the mountains of West Virginia and parts of southeastern and eastern New England.
