LABUAN: A dead male green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) was discovered on Manikar Beach near Palm Beach Resort & Spa here today.

LABUAN: A dead male green sea turtle was discovered on Manikar Beach near Palm Beach Resort & Spa here today.

The carcass, measuring one meter long and weighing more than 50 kilogrammes, was found by a couple of tourists from England at 3.15pm who then informed a local acquaintance.The discovery is the second this month after a carcass of a green turtle without flippers and head was found by a restaurant staff at Nagalang Beach, here, on Feb 17.
