The Hawks have arrested an alleged Namibian fugitive, who Interpol wanted, in Paarl in the Western Cape.

She said that the alleged fugitive is wanted for racketeering, fraud, corruption and money laundering under an Interpol red notice. At the time, they were not aware that he had been suspended from practising as an attorney in 2016, said Mogale. The fugitive was ultimately struck off the roll of attorneys in 2022, she added.
