JOHOR BARU: Johor has opened up another flood relief centre in Segamat, says the Johor Civil Defence Force.
In a statement, the department said 34 victims from 11 families were relocated to Balairaya Kampung Batu Badak and Balairaya Kampung Kuala Paya respectively.
On Sunday , there were 27 flood victims from nine families in the district from Kampung Seberang Batu Badak, Kampung Batu 5 and Kampung Kuala Paya. "The second flood relief centre, which is Balairaya Kampung Kuala Paya, was opened at around 12pm on Monday for seven victims. "Some 27 victims from Kampung Seberang Batu Badak and Kampung Batu 5 are at Balairaya Kampung Batu Badak," it said.
The department also said that Sungai Muar in Kampung Awat and Buloh Kasap in Segamat had reached a warning level.
