Humana CEO Bruce Broussard told investors Wednesday the insurer 'does not support any bill' that would eliminate Medicare Advantage or 'make private insurance illegal.'
on an earnings call last month that "Medicare for All" would "surely jeopardize the relationship people have with their doctors, destabilize the nation's health system and limit the ability of clinicians to practice medicine at their best."
Humana is one of the nation's largest Medicare Advantage providers, with individual Medicare Advantage membership expected to grow 14% to 440,000 members in 2019.
