A snowstorm has again closed schools, swamped streets and tangled traffic in Anchorage and Mat-Su. How much snow did you see in your part of town?
State of Alaska offices in Anchorage, the Mat-Su Borough and the Kenai Peninsula are also closed for the day.
“We actually got over 15 inches at the office tonight, and we broke a snow record yesterday,” she said. Weather radar was still tracking additional snow over the Anchorage Bowl, Cook Inlet and the Kenai Peninsula, with more snowfall expected through Monday morning.
