The 65-year-old was likely struck in the head, says lab report as the Jenkins family accuses Malaysian authorities of failing to detect this.
Anna Jenkins’s remains were found at a bungalow site on Scotland Road in George Town, Penang, in 2020.
“All three defects appear to have been caused by blunt trauma with a penetrating component,” senior forensic scientist Ellie Simpson wrote in her report. Anna’s son, Greg, told FMT that Malaysian forensic authorities should have identified the trauma marks on the bone.
