: Penganjuran program dan pengumuman peruntukan oleh kementerian mahupun menteri ketika Pilihan Raya Kecil bukanlah menjadi satu kesalahan, kata Ahli Majlis Tertinggi UMNO Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan.
“Ketika itu, mahkamah buat keputusan mereka datang atas jawatan pimpinan kerajaan yang berdepan dengan masyarakat dan kebetulan ada PRK. Jadi ia bukanlah kesalahan. Beliau berkata demikian mengulas kenyataan seorang Ahli Parlimen pembangkang yang disiarkan sebuah portal semalam yang mendakwa ramai menteri turun atas nama program anjuran kerajaan di Sungai Bakap dan bukannya aktiviti parti atau calon Pakatan Harapan Dr Joohari Ariffin.
Joohari dicabar Naib Yang Dipertua PAS Nibong Tebal Abidin Ismail sebagai calon Perikatan Nasional , dalam pertembungan satu lawan satu pada PRK DUN Sungai Bakap, 6 Julai ini.
