PETALING JAYA: Badang negara, Mohamad Aniq Kasdan berpeluang menebus kehampaan di Sukan Olimpik Paris 2024 dengan melakukannya di temasya Los Angeles 2028 .
Menteri Belia dan Sukan, Hannah Yeoh berkata, beliau bangga dengan semangat juang ditunjukkan Aniq dalam acara angkat berat kategori 61 kilogram lelaki di Paris 2024, malam tadi. Walaupun hanya berpuas hati di tempat keempat, pemenang pingat emas Sukan Komenwel Birmingham 2022 itu berjaya memadam rekod kebangsaan miliknya sendiri dengan angkatan keseluruhan 297kg.
“Dia masih muda dan boleh menjadi pencabar hebat serta prospek yang baik untuk membawa pulang emas pada 2028.
