KOTA KINABALU: Former foreign minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman (pic) has denied that he received money from Ultra Kirana Sdn Bhd (UKSB), the company implicated in former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's ongoing graft trial.

Anifah said he did not even know of the company and the people involved, and was shocked by the testimony of UKSB administrative manager David Tan Siong Sun during Ahmad Zahid's trial at the Shah Alam High Court last week."I am shocked by these reports," he said, adding that he did not remember ever meeting Tan or receiving any money from the company.
"I do not know who they are and I did not have any dealings with them in any manner whatsoever," he added in a statement issued late Sunday .Anifah said he would help with any investigation by the authorities to clear his name.He also named several other ministers in government then as having received payments from his company.
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission later said that it will be investigating the claims made by Tan in court.
