Local singer and actress Ani Mayuni has cleared the air with a fellow dangdut singer after a misunderstanding.
KUALA LUMPUR: Singer and actress, Ani Mayuni , revealed that her dispute with a local dangdut singer has cleared up as they both took the approach of forgiving each other. According to Ani or her real name, Aishah An-Nur Osman, 48, she does not deny that the dispute stemmed from misunderstandings as well as being 'provoked' by outsiders. 'What can be said, the two of us are not quarrelling very much, just a misunderstanding.
It's common like siblings quarrelling, sometimes there are a bit of hurt feelings. 'Perhaps the mistake was listening too much to what other people said, even though we could have just talked face to face. 'Although initially a bit tense, but alhamdulillah after we met each other, we have forgiven each other. After getting all the explanations, I don't hold any grudges or anger,' she said. Ani said this when met at the 'Ramadan buffet review' event for Selera Bonda which was held at St.Giles Boulevard, here, yesterday. Besides, Ani admits that she is not angry with the dangdut singer in question and is reluctant to remember the incident. Moreover, for the singer of the songs 'Sedap' and 'Buaya Cinta', she said she felt sad when her relationship with the dangdut singer became cold because of the misunderstanding before. 'We met and expressed everything. Honestly, I'm very sad if I quarrel with friends who I already consider like siblings. 'I have also forgotten about it and don't want to remember it anymore. Our relationship is good, I greet and message him as usual. 'I'm the type who doesn't like to get angry or make something an issue, just don't touch my family. He knows me, I don't like to fight,' she said. In another development, Ani will be partnering with versatile celebrity, Kelly Azman to entertain guests breaking fast throughout Ramadan at the hotel
