In an interview with the Daily Mail, American singer Meat Loaf turned his attention to Greta Thunberg—saying 'She has been brainwashed into thinking that there is climate change and there isn't.'
Recently, Meat Loaf joined the ranks of aging, out-of-touch celebrities who have nasty things to say about a young and impactful environmental activist., in which he generously describes himself as a “sex god,” Meat Loaf turned his attention to Greta Thunberg, stating:
But Greta Thunberg’s outspoken brand of activism, in which she attempts to wake the world up from our collective slumber, away from environmental disaster, has sparked an alarmingly aggressive response. Rogan then went on to discuss how Time Magazine is made out of paper, seamlessly moving on to the subject of hemp paper, and inevitably, marijuana legalization .Thunberg’s activism to Nazi propaganda, a wildly offensive and ignorant comparison, doubtlessly intended to attract controversy. Whoops, wrong tweet.
Thankfully, Greta Thunberg seems to understand their game, and refuses to play; when she famously stated, “How dare you!” she wasn’t engaging with internet trolls - she was criticizing the complacency of polluters and politicians who have led us to the climate crisis.
