“I think it flips a switch for us,” Wantz said. “I think it shows that you know, we stick together and we play as a team, good things happen.” The convenient narrative about a fight turning around a season is one that the Angels will obviously embrace. It remains to be seen whether a team that is now 35-40 can really make the kind of dramatic turnaround necessary to get to the playoffs.
