Tottenham Hotspur’s Australian manager Ange Postecoglou has further endeared himself to the fans at his new club sharing a heartwarming moment with a young supporter.
The 58-year-old recently won Premier League Manager of the Month for Tottenham’s hot start to the season but it is his off-field demeanour that has most fans in love with “Big Ange”.
During a fan forum ahead of the North London derby on Sunday Postecoglou patiently answered questions for about 90 minutes before he stopped the host from wrapping up proceedings to answer one more question from a young supporter with Down Syndrome. "Hang on, one more question down the front. Everyone involved at the football club… we understand what this team means to all you folk about this football club, what it means to all of you.
“Our role is to try and make you happy and proud every time we go out there. So that’s what we will try and do.”Appearing at a Tottenham fan forum, the Aussie interrupted the MC as he tried to wrap up the event and let one final question be answered.
