An ‘unprecedented’ Raya: Practise self-curfew at home, 20 visitors number just relative, says Health D-G

“The number 20 is relative so forget about the number,” he said during his daily Covid-19 briefing today. Visiting loved ones will have to be put on hold if it is unnecessary, said Dr Noor Hisham, before asking Malaysians to think about the risks that they are exposing their family members to, especially children and the elderly, if they were to come into close contact with a Covid-19 carrier.

Dr Noor Hisham said the Saudi authorities had to take these steps after seeing a spike in cases. However, in Malaysia, he expressed hope that the rakyat will know how to take matters into their own hands to protect themselves.
