Come for the music but stay for the food at Outside Lands. Here's a recap of what was cooking at the 2021 festival.
SAN FRANCISCO -- Outside Lands returned to Golden Gate Park last weekend after a 2-year hiatus. There was lots of excitement over the Halloween weekend, but for some, it wasn't all about the music. Gourmet food and a wide variety of beer and wine options stole the show!
"We bring the incredible wine scene, we bring the incredible food scene, the incredible music scene," explained the curator of Taste of the Bay Area, Tanya Kollar."And it really is kind of like, you know, the Bay Area turned into a festival. That's kind of how I think of it." "The Bay Area has such a huge diversity of different styles of cuisine. So, we try to represent that here and have as many different styles as possible," said Kollar.Did you know that before Wine Lands launched, wine was not available at most music festivals? Wine Lands offers over 100 different wines from some of the most interesting, diverse, and small production California wineries, presented by the very people who make them.
