The Australian edition of The Office is the 13th global incarnation of the iconic comedy series
Fans of The Office are in luck as a new Australian update on the hit comedy series is set to land on Prime Video in October.
In the upcoming series, titled The Office, Ward plays new boss Hannah Howard, managing director of Flinley Craddick packaging company.READ MORE: Terrifying new Amazon Prime Video series leaves viewers 'too scared to sleep' The staff of Flinley Craddick indulge her and must endure Hannah’s outlandish plots as they work toward the impossible targets that have been set for them.The original The Office was created, written and directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, with Ricky starring in the series as lead character David Brent. It followed the day to day lives of office staff in the Slough branch of the fictional Wernham Hogg paper company.
Following its success, an American adaptation was released in 2005, starring Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, and Jenna Fischer. The U.S. version of The Office ran for 9 seasons and was nominated for 44 the PrimeTime Emmy Award.
