Amid focus on IPCMC, Kit Siang highlights welfare aspect of police reforms

DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang today highlighted the welfare aspect of the Royal Malaysian Police amid focus on the setting up of an Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission .

Lim noted that the parliamentary caucus on governance and institutional reforms chaired by Port Dickson MP Anwar Ibrahim will be reviewing the commission's report to study whether the recommendations to improve police welfare had been implemented in the past 14 years.
