Amid the “ever-changing” global environment, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. urged the Armed Forces of the Philippines to provide him with “high-level security intelligence” on security concerns beyond the country’s borders.
He said AFP must “emerge effective, formidable, and responsive” to defend the country’s integrity and interests, when faced with such external challenges. The newly promoted military officials, he said, must also ensure AFP’s assets will be managed efficiently so its operation will be efficient and resilient.
He also assured his administration would provide the necessary support to the AFP for the well being of all its personnel.
