Meanwhile, the other half of voters have expressed little or no confidence in the Supreme Court.
The poll was taken after the Supreme Court draft opinion indicating the overturning of Roe v. Wade was leaked.The poll showed voters to be almost evenly divided over whether the leak was a “good thing” or a “bad thing” , with 33% unsure. In the draft decision, dated in February, Justice Samuel Alito argued that the Roe decision was “egregiously wrong from the start” and that the question of whether to restrict abortion should be left up to the states.Confidence in the Supreme Court was at 70 percent just 20 months ago.poll released in February showed that 54% had a favorable view of the court, down from 69% in August 2019.
