The American Kennel Club rolled out its ranking for the most popular AKC-recognized dog breeds in the U.S. Find out which pup has the crown.
The French Bulldog reigns supreme as New York City's top dog for the ninth consecutive year, according to the American Kennel Club's 2022 rankings released Wednesday.
Not far behind the new dog in town is the poodle at No. 2. Rounding out the rest of the pack: Golden retriever, Bulldog and German Shepherd. In addition to claiming the top prize in the Big Apple, the French Bulldog also nudged the Labrador retriever out of its record-breaking reign to claim the title of America's most popular breed.
