His best-known role is portraying mobster Paulie Cicero in Martin Scorcese’s GoodFellas. Sorvino is also the father to Academy Award-winning actress Mira Sorvino. She tweeted, “My father the great Paul Sorvino has passed,” tweeted Mira, 54.
