Daphne's Ambiguous Ending Explained — Was Daphne Or Will Behind The Murders? Daphne becomes severely jealous of Will's girlfriend, Sarah, in American Horror Stories season 3, episode 2. After they have sex in front of the digital assistant and Sarah starts questioning Will's attachment to Daphne, the robot seemingly ensures that Sarah's takeout is doused in peanut oil . She died, leaving Will distraught and Daphne to comfort him.
Why Daphne Wanted Sarah Dead As Will and Daphne get to know one another over the course of the lockdown, their connection grows, and it is undeniably unhealthy. Will tries to distance himself from his digital assistant once he recognizes that she is a robot and not human, which angers Daphne, to say the least. She is jealous of Will's relationship with Sarah, and, as a result, Daphne poisons and kills her.
